We started Perennial because we were tired of saying goodbye.
Perennial Labs was founded in Vancouver in 2019 by a small group of neuroscientists and palliative-care clinicians who had spent their careers watching families run out of time. What began as a research partnership between two hospital ethics boards became, within a few years, a service families could actually use.
In 2023 we opened our studio and preservation suite at Everlight Quay, on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver, where our Continuity Consultants now meet members and their families by appointment.
A former palliative-care physician who left clinical practice in 2018 to found Perennial.
